After flying high against the Watsonville Wildcatz last Monday, the Alisal Trojans came back down to earth. The matchup between Alisal and Seaside wasn't particularly close, with Alisal falling 65-51. Alisal was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Seaside apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Alisal still got an impressive performance from Kike Jacinto, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jacinto has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Adrian Cardenas, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Alisal's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Seaside, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-14.
Alisal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 80-36 win vs. Stevenson on the 9th. Seaside has also already played their next contest, a 65-47 loss against North Monterey County on the 9th.
