After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Si, the Inglemoor Vikings were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 win over Newport - Bellevue. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Inglemoor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reuhen Bhalod out in front who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Bhalod has scored at least 25% of Inglemoor's points. Kieran Clasen was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Inglemoor's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Newport - Bellevue, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Inglemoor will take on Issaquah at 8:10 p.m. on Friday. Issaquah has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matchups. As for Newport - Bellevue, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Redmond at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Redmond's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
