Basketball Recap: Westfair Christian Beats Marquette Manor Baptist Academy for Their Fifth Straight Win

Westfair Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Marquette Manor Baptist Academy Minutemen 40-22. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westfair Christian also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Westfair Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greyson Prevett, who went 11 for 25 on his way to 22 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Prevett's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Griffin Prevett, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 21 boards.

When it comes to explaining why Marquette Manor Baptist Academy lost, don't look at Zack Csorba. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points.

Westfair Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.
