Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Perry

Perry extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 7-2 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Greeneview Rams. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

As for Greeneview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Greeneview's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Penrod, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Andy Burkett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Coming up, Perry will head out to challenge Chagrin Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greeneview, they will be playing at home against Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams are facing the Irish at the right time seeing as the Irish are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
