MacArthur is a perfect 9-0 against Berkner since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. MacArthur's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Berkner's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
MacArthur is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Molina get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Ricardo Adame and Alexandro Perez were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Adame struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Perez tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Adame got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, while Perez went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Perez is becoming a predictor of MacArthur's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-0-1 (and 6-7-2 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jayden Sanchez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Leonardo Chavez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
MacArthur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Berkner was able to grind out a solid victory over Nimitz on Thursday, taking the game 7-3. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.
MacArthur's record is now 10-7-3. As for Berkner, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-6-1.
MacArthur skirted past Berkner 3-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
