Baseball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Gets the Win

Heritage Christian Academy took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against St. Paul's Prep, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Heritage Christian Academy had just enough and edged out St. Paul's Prep 3-2 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for Heritage Christian Academy: when they faced off against St. Paul's Prep last Monday, they had to take a 12-2 defeat.

Heritage Christian Academy's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carson Hicks, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Heritage Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Paul's Prep, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Heritage Christian Academy and St. Paul's Prep will both be playing Harvest Christian Academy the next time they take the field. St. Paul's Prep will host Harvest Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Heritage Christian Academy will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
