Hiawatha won the last time they faced Alden-Hebron and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Green Giants. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Delaney Wood paced Hiawatha's offense, picking up nine kills. Wood got some help from Mallory Banks and her 12 assists. Wood also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Leah Belle Hartigan, each putting up three.

Hiawatha's victory bumped their record up to 8-19. As for Alden-Hebron, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-26.

Coincidentally, Hiawatha and Alden-Hebron will both be playing Westlake Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Hawks will host the Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Green Giants will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
