The Delta Rabbits will head out to challenge the Wayne Badgers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Delta had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Millard on Thursday. The Rabbits put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 24-12 win.

Elcie Shurtz was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joslyn Christiansen, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
Delta was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Millard only posted a batting average of .269.
Meanwhile, while Wayne put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Water Canyon. The Badgers blew past the Wildcats 23-0. Winning may never get old, but the Badgers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Alania Grundy was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Ava Snedeger was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with six stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Jenna Erickson was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Delta's record now sits at 9-11. As for Wayne, their record is now 15-6.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Delta hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .334. However, it's not like Wayne struggles in that department as they've averaged .403. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Delta beat Wayne 12-7 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Rabbits repeat their success, or do the Badgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
