Chamblee has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Decatur Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Chamblee's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Chamblee pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The match between Chamblee and Lithonia wasn't particularly close, with Chamblee falling 72-56. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chamblee has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ramon McDaniel, Jr., who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Starr, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Tucker scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Decatur still came out on top. Decatur pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Tucker.
Chamblee's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Decatur, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Things could have been worse for Chamblee, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-44 loss to Decatur when the teams last played back in January. Can Chamblee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
