The Osceola Bulldogs can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Heartland 56-26 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Osceola also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Osceola got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Courtney Sunday out in front who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Sunday also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Recker, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Allie Boehr and Hayden Mierau certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Boehr scored eight points along with two steals, while Mierau scored three points along with four steals.
Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Heartland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Osceola won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Shelby-Rising City at 5:55 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Osceola focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday. Heartland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
