The Vista PEAK Prep Bison scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 85-13 victory over Lincoln on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Vista PEAK Prep who now have ten in a row.
Leading Vista PEAK Prep to victory were Amirah Pena and Knakai Starks. Pena scored 14 points along with six steals, while Starks dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Starks is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Eianna Jackson, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Vista PEAK Prep pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for Lincoln, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vista PEAK Prep will take on the Nighthawks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lincoln, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Commanders at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Hopefully Kennedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Wednesday.
