Despite the loss, DePaul Cristo Rey still got an impressive performance from Britain Starks, who scored 17 points. The game was Starks' 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Collins, who scored ten points.
DePaul Cristo Rey bumped their record down to 4-7 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gamble Montessori, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
DePaul Cristo Rey will head out on the road to face off against Oyler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oyler is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Gamble Montessori, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cincinnati College Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
