There's no place like home for The Atlantic Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Dwyer on Friday as Atlantic made off with a 28-7 win. The result was nothing new for Atlantic, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Among those leading the charge was Lincoln Graf, who threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarion Alberic, who gained 109 total yards and a touchdown.
Atlantic's victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.6 points per game. As for Dwyer, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Atlantic will head out on the road to face off against Glades Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Glades Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Atlantic is ranked 37th). As for Dwyer, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Seminole Ridge at 6:30 p.m. Seminole Ridge will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
