Heartland Lutheran needed a changed in momentum after dropping eight straight games and they got it from Luke Olson. The Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Harvard Cardinals 68-25 thanks in part to Olson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game.
The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Zehendner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
Heartland Lutheran's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Harvard, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
Heartland Lutheran will be taking part in a tournament against Dundy County-Stratton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
