This season hasn't been kind to the O'Neal Falcons, who are still winless after their 21st game. They were beaten by Berean Baptist Academy 74-20 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points O'Neal has scored all season.
Berean Baptist Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josiah Sanders, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Briceson Martin was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and six steals.
O'Neal dropped their record down to 0-21 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Berean Baptist Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-17.
O'Neal will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Baptist Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully the Falcons like a good challenge. As for Berean Baptist Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
