The Jensen Beach Falcons will face off against the Suncoast Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Jensen Beach is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Dr. Joaquin Garcia, sneaking past 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 11th.

The result came thanks to John Gillen's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Jensen Beach is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-14 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Will Rader, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Suncoast waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Lions 15-1.
John Cimbella made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cimbella was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Jason Giamboi looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.
Back at the plate, Aidan Arjune was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Lee Ellis was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Suncoast always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Olympic Heights only posted an OBP of .318.
Suncoast's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jensen Beach, their record is now 10-16.
Jensen Beach couldn't quite get it done against Suncoast when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 6-1. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
