Two all-time state records were eclipsed Friday night as

J. J. Jude, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound junior, ran for a state-record 584 yards on 32 carries and scored six touchdowns, according to Jody Demling of the

Jude’s brilliant effort enabled the Golden Eagles to establish a state team record with 775 rushing yards.
* Demling also reported that one week earlier

Christian County (Hopkinsville, Ky.), tied a state record by returning four punts for touchdowns during a 71-7 rout of Ohio County (Hartford, Ky.). It also tied him for No. 2 in national prep history. The record is six.
