West Hills will take on Santana at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. West Hills will be strutting in after a win while Santana will be stumbling in from a loss.
West Hills were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They made easy work of El Cajon Valley last Friday and carried off a 47-13 victory. West Hills' success was spearheaded by the efforts of junior Izayah Fussell, who rushed for 107 yards and 1 touchdown, and senior Jordin Young, who threw 2 TDs and punched in 1 rushing TD. Young has been a consistent playmaker for West Hills as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Santana found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-46 punch to the gut against Mount Miguel. Santana were down by 7-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Everything went West Hills' way against Santana the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 34-7 win. Will West Hills repeat their success, or does Santana have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
