There's no place like home for the Oconee Christian Academy Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Tabernacle Christian by a score of 51-39 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Oconee Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Oconee Christian Academy to victory were Daniel Frick and Carson Duncan. Frick scored 19 points along with five rebounds, while Duncan scored 22 points along with eight steals and seven assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Frick has scored at least 25% of Oconee Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Pierce, who scored five points.
Oconee Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Tabernacle Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Oconee Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Richard Winn Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tabernacle Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
