Allison Wormely was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 blocks. She hasn't dropped below two blocks for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Jada Washington, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Talladega County Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They had just enough and edged Fayetteville out 49-46. The victory was just what Talladega County Central needed coming off of a 82-15 loss in their prior contest.
Jefferson Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Talladega County Central, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Everything came up roses for Jefferson Christian Academy against Talladega County Central when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 46-15 victory.
