Jefferson Christian Academy is 3-0 against Talladega County Central since December of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles will be playing at home against the Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Jefferson Christian Academy posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They skirted past Victory Christian 48-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jefferson Christian Academy.
Allison Wormely was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 blocks. She hasn't dropped below two blocks for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Jada Washington, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Talladega County Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They had just enough and edged Fayetteville out 49-46. The victory was just what Talladega County Central needed coming off of a 82-15 loss in their prior contest.
Jefferson Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Talladega County Central, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Everything came up roses for Jefferson Christian Academy against Talladega County Central when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 46-15 victory.
