Gananda Central is 9-1 against the Marauders since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Gananda Central Blue Panthers will be playing at home against the Williamson Marauders at 7:00 p.m. Gananda Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully the Marauders like a good challenge.
Even though Red Creek scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Gananda Central still came out on top. Gananda Central strolled past the Rams with points to spare, taking the game 73-58. Gananda Central pushed the score to 58-37 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.
Gananda Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Caviness, who scored 19 points. Caviness hasn't dropped below 19 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Brayden Dohse, who scored 14 points.
Williamson can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against Red Creek by a score of 48-39.
Gananda Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Williamson, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
Everything came up roses for Gananda Central against the Marauders when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 69-42 win. Will Gananda Central repeat their success, or do the Marauders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
