Mishawaka is 9-1 against Warsaw since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cavemen will square off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Mishawaka is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Things were looking good for Mishawaka after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Northridge by a score of 5-4. The Cavemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camila Rameriz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Khloe Hershey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Karmen Frazier was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Warsaw didn't have quite enough to beat Concord on Monday and fell 7-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Minutemen: they've now lost nine in a row.
Adelynn Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Ayla Hatfield, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Mishawaka, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.
Warsaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Mishawaka has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Warsaw, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 strikeouts. Will Mishawaka keep running through batters, or will the Tigers buck the trend?
Mishawaka came out on top in a nail-biter against Warsaw in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 10-9. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavemen since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
