The Gulliver Prep Raiders got the win against the iMater Charter Knights on Wednesday by a conclusive 62-36. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.

Champ Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-16 to rack up 23 points and eight boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Gulliver Prep's points. Wynn Allen was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 16 rebounds and three steals.

Loss or not, iMater Charter got some senior leadership from Alexander Masis and Alain Alvarez. Masis posted eight points, while Alvarez put up eight points. Masis has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Gulliver Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for iMater Charter, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Gulliver Prep has already played their next contest, a 47-42 defeat against Miami on the 11th. As for iMater Charter, they will take on Coral Gables at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
