Chapin is a perfect 10-0 against Jefferson since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Huskies will venture away from home to take on the Silver Foxes at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Chapin's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six games.
On Thursday, Chapin made easy work of El Paso and carried off an 18-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Khloe Jensen was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Alyssa Pena was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Ariana Manriquez also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Chapin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in 17 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Jefferson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against Burges, falling 12-3.
Jefferson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yazmeen De La Paz, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Elizabella Quinonez was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4-1. As for Chapin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chapin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .460. However, it's not like Jefferson struggles in that department as they've averaged .506. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Chapin got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Jefferson by a conclusive 17-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
