Craigmont's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tashun Lewis, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Christopher Taylor, who scored ten points.
Munford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Murray Norman, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Norman is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bell, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Craigmont's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Munford, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
Craigmont will head out on the road to take on Brighton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Munford, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Raleigh-Egypt at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. Raleigh-Egypt has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 285 points over their last four contests.
