Meanwhile, Sylva Bay Academy entered their tilt with Lamar Christian with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Sylva Bay Academy made off with a 41-40 win over Lamar Christian.
It was another big night for Brody Boyd, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristen Rogers, who scored six points along with five assists.
Prentiss Christian bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sylva Bay Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Prentiss Christian suffered a grim 53-28 defeat to Sylva Bay Academy in their previous meeting back in January.
