After flying high against Jefferson on Friday, Leipsic came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 4-1 to the Edgerton Bulldogs on Saturday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Leipsic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Schroeder, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Mill Paniagua also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Leipsic's record is now 4-3. As for Edgerton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Leipsic beat the Bulldogs by a score of 7-4 later that day.
