While Brother Rice's win against Adams wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors skirted past the Highlanders 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won three in a row.

Blake Ilitch looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Brother Rice saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Turner, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Brother Rice's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Adams, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Brother Rice will take on University of Detroit Jesuit at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Adams, they will challenge Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
