The Bronaugh Wildcats had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Chilhowee 72-55 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bronaugh to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Duncan, who scored 38 points along with five steals. Duncan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Strauss Banes, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Bronaugh now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Chilhowee, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bronaugh will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chilhowee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
