The North Tama Redhawks are taking a road trip to  challenge the GMG Wolverines  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. GMG took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Tama, who comes in off a win.
North Tama will bounce into Thursday's   game after  beating Baxter, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. North Tama skirted past Baxter  50-47. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Redhawks as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
 Meanwhile, GMG came up short against Colo-NESCO on Tuesday and fell  29-21.
 GMG's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for North Tama, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-8.
 North Tama didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against GMG  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  39-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Tama since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
