The Unity Christian Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 59-25 loss at the hands of Galesburg Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Unity Christian has suffered since December 5, 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Unity Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carsen Bennett. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Unity Christian's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Galesburg Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unity Christian will square off against Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galesburg Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
