Last Tuesday, McNeil was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-35 to Stony Point.
Cedar Ridge has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell just short of Round Rock by a score of 38-36. That's two games in a row now that Cedar Ridge has lost by exactly two points.
McNeil has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Cedar Ridge, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.
McNeil came up short against Cedar Ridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 39-35. Can McNeil avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
