Souerdyke Made His Presence Known in Thayer Central's 60-18 Win
Starting off the list is Thayer Central's Sam Souerdyke, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Souerdyke rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.
Souerdyke and Thayer Central will take on Exeter-Milligan/Friend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans had to take a loss when they last met the Bobcats, but Souerdyke had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Ethan Shaw and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Ethan Shaw's big game helped extend Sandy Creek's winning streak to seven on Friday. Shaw did his part (and then some), rushing for 106 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 183 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
Shaw must have Exeter-Milligan/Friend's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Shaw rushed for 85 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt the last time he and the Bobcats duked it out back in September of 2023.

Connor Rempe's big game helped extend Sandy Creek's winning streak to seven on Friday. Rempe was unstoppable, picking up 38 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards.
