The Alpharetta Raiders and the Hapeville Charter Hornets will round out the year against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at. Hapeville Charter took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Alpharetta, who comes in off a win.
Alpharetta entered their tilt with Upson-Lee with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Alpharetta took down Upson-Lee 59-41 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Hapeville Charter came up short against Butler on Thursday and fell 62-49. While losing is never fun, Hapeville Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Butler is ranked 44th).
The losing side was boosted by Jonathan Goldson, who scored 21 points. The match was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thad Buttone, who scored ten points.
Alpharetta now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Hapeville Charter, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
