Mid-State - South recap Oct. 30, 2012
Sacred Heart Academy extended the longest winning streak in Mid-State - South this week by beating Au Gres-Sims, 61-0. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Sacred Heart Academy took down the Wolverines 61-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Mitch Myler threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns and ran for nine yards in the win.
Rick Roberts' team's Myler and Dustin Neyer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Myler has thrown for 2314 yards this season, while Neyer, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 53 catches for 1026 yards. Coleman's Tim Anderson leads the league in rushing yards with 1411.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Sacred Heart Academy takes on second place Carson City-Crystal. Last week, the Irish beat Au Gres-Sims, while Carson City-Crystal lost to Evart.
