A Season-Best Performance from Madden Brabec Leads Wood River over Superior
Madden Brabec produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wood River to the win on Friday. Brabec rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 105 yards and three touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
The win (which was Wood River's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Brabec and Wood River will head out on the road to take on Doniphan-Trumbull at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kyler Boyles continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 113 rushing yards. He rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

On the season, Rohrich has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 177.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 10.13 rushing yards per game.
