They came out on top against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent by a score of 68-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Boston Trinity Academy was led to victory by Kyle Cameron Martin and Wellbi Perez-Valera. Martin scored 20 points along with two steals, while Perez-Valera shot 4-for-9 from long range and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Moses Long, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Boston Trinity Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 62-201.
Boston Trinity Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South Shore Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 14th. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Abundant Life Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th.
