This season hasn't been kind to the Polson Pirates, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. They were outmatched by Beaverhead County on the road and fell 65-19. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Polson has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Polson struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Polson's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Beaverhead County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Polson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Hamilton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Beaverhead County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
