The State College Little Lions lost against the Spring-Ford Rams back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. State College took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spring-Ford.
State College's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Torbic, who scored 16 points. Xion Nichols was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 4 steals.
State College's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Spring-Ford, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. State College will take on Altoona at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Altoona is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Spring-Ford, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Norristown at 6:45 p.m.
