Dana Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nikolis Grguric, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 22 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Scodeller, who scored nine points along with 15 assists and eight rebounds.
Despite the loss, El Toro still got an impressive performance from Christian Jimenez, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Jimenez is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Kaleb Bass was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 13 rebounds.
Dana Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for El Toro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dana Hills will take on Aliso Niguel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Toro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mission Viejo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mission Viejo is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
