That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 39-32 win two weeks ago.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Remmey Carnes, who posted 12 points and five boards. Carnes has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Coulter Kasbohm was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.
Walkerville's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
Looking ahead, Walkerville will square off against Pentwater at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pentwater knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Walkerville likes a good challenge.
