The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Henninger has struggled recently with 11 losses in a row, while Rome Free Academy will arrive with six straight wins.
Two weeks ago, Henninger lost to Fayetteville-Manlius on the road by a decisive 60-45 margin.
Meanwhile, Rome Free Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Notre Dame at home to the tune of 118-58. That 60 points margin sets a new team best for Rome Free Academy this season.
It was another big night for Uzziah Grimes, who scored 39 points along with six rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Surafia Norries, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 assists.
Henninger's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Rome Free Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
