Meanwhile, Alleghany slipped by Grayson County 21-20 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.
The win got Mitchell back to even at 1-1. As for Alleghany, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Alleghany's Mack LeMasters, who rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 116 yards on eight of 15 attempts.
