The Odyssey Charter School Titans's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They snuck past Astronaut with a 36-31 victory. For Odyssey Charter School, this counts as revenge for the 35-27 defeat Astronaut walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Odyssey Charter School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalia DeJesus-Bruno out in front who scored nine points along with seven steals and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christiana Patterson, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Odyssey Charter School's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Astronaut, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Odyssey Charter School will take on John Carroll Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Astronaut, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Merritt Island at 5:30 p.m. on January 18th.
