On Monday, Rockford didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Spectrum, but they still walked away with a 39-35 victory. That's two games straight that Rockford has won by exactly four points.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Mae Weiss and
Sienna Thomas, who each put up seven points.
In what's become a running theme this season, Dassel-Cokato gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They beat Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted by the very same score they won with last week: 67-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Dassel-Cokato has posted yet this season.
Rockford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8. As for Dassel-Cokato, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Rockford suffered a grim 53-32 defeat to Dassel-Cokato in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Rockford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
