Peach County came tearing into  Wednesday's  match with 19 straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   9-8 W against the Perry Panthers. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the   6-2 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in February of 2024.
  Zion Hudson was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. He also put up a  triple, which was his first of the season.  Scout Willingham was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.

The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games.
