Head coach Gary McKnight's Monarchs (24-1) – ranked No. 5 nationally by MaxPreps this week – have lost at home only once in the past 10 years.
But this weekend at Mater Dei's annual Nike Extravaganza, it's the guests garnering much of the attention. Three of the top five teams in the High School Top 25 will take the floor Saturday night in back-to-back-to-back games at the Meruelo Athletic Center.
And that doesn't include storied
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), who will be out to end one of high school basketball's longest win streaks.

The Piedmont Conference rivals met just 10 days ago with Greensboro Day taking a 51-46 win. Wesleyan Christian Academy will serve as host this time around and can earn a share of the conference lead with a win. There will be seven or eight future Division I players on the floor at all times in this one.
