Spring has gone 8-2 against Benjamin Davis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Spring Lions will head out on the road to take on the Benjamin Davis Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Spring will be strutting in after a win while Benjamin Davis will be coming in after a defeat.
Spring is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over Westfield on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Travis Ellis was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three matchups. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Joshua Porter and Julian Curry did most of the damage at the plate: Porter scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Curry scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Porter has become a key player for Spring: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Moises Arb, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Spring hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 4-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Benjamin Davis' good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eisenhower.
John Ureste was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarcus Braxton, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
The win got Spring back to even at 8-8. As for Benjamin Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Spring skirted past Benjamin Davis 5-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Does Spring have another victory up their sleeve, or will Benjamin Davis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
