Basketball Recap: B O L D's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It was a good run, but B O L D unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 56-43 to the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-38 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why B O L D lost, don't look at Will Penkert. Despite the final result, he shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 boards. The game was Penkert's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hudson Vosika, who posted five points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

B O L D's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6. As for Sauk Centre, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
