Meanwhile, Westfield entered their tilt with Carmel with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Westfield took down Carmel 37-21 on Friday. Given Westfield's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Carmel is ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Jackson Gilbert, who threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Kendall Garnett lll and his 102 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Westfield's win.
Noblesville's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Westfield, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1.
